Crossing many cultural barriers it still draws remarks such as 'I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole' and 'i'd rather eat wasps' from so called 'babies', trapped by their infamous history. Though I would rather be in bed I will now examine the primary causes of female latin artist.

I agree with anonymous, atleast all of the singers on this list sold moer than 50 million albums.

I agree. The most successful/Best selling LATIN artists of all time are:
Julio Iglesias
Luis Miguel
Ricky Martin
Enrique Iglesias,
Chayanne
Thalia
Shakira
Mana
Gloria Estefan
Jose Feliciano
Roberto Carlos
Miguel Bose

The ones mentioned on this page are basically popular, but not as popular, or commercially successfully as the list I just entered. Some of the new generations don't even know who they are. Whereas in Latin America everyone know who Shakira or Luis Miguel is
Gipsy Kings
Mana
